Symantec Executives to Speak at SUPERCOMM
CUPERTINO, Calif. - June 17, 2004 -
Symantec Corp. (Nasdaq:SYMC), the global leader in information security, today announced that Rob Clyde, Symantec's chief technology officer, and Joe Vignaly, senior director, industry solutions, will participate in panel discussions at SUPERCOMM at McCormick Place in Chicago.
Clyde will participate in a panel as part of the 4th International Enterprise Networking and Services Conference (EntNet) at SUPERCOMM. The panel, "Policy Orchestration: Keeping Your Network Secure, Mobile & Productive" is scheduled for Monday, June 21, from 3:45 p.m. - 5:15 p.m. CT. Panelists will discuss how to keep a remote workforce connected, secure and productive through policy orchestration. As chief technology officer Clyde sets the technology vision and strategy for Symantec.
Vignaly will participate in a panel as part of the International Engineering Consortium's (IEC) Executive Forum at SUPERCOMM. The panel, "Wireless Broadband Takes Center Stage" is scheduled for Tuesday, June 22 from 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. CT. The panelists will discuss the mobile Internet including multimedia Internet services and applications, integration of voice, data and video, and service architectures and technologies for the future. As senior director of industry solutions, Vignaly is responsible for the development of security solutions and strategies for vertical markets and cross-industry business initiatives.
