Selects ON Technology Solution to Rapidly Roll-Out
Oracle and Siebel Applications to 150 Local Offices
& Mobile Users Nationwide
ON Command CCM allows Expanets to push mission-critical
applications over the network and significantly increase reliability of its enterprise
infrastructure

January 8, 2002 - ON Technology (NASDAQ: ONTC),

solutions, today announced that Expanets Inc. has selected
ON Command CCM® to roll-out its suite of mission-critical
sales management and CRM (Customer Relationship Management)
applications, based on Oracle 11i and Siebel. With over
$1 billion in revenues and 3,300 employees nationwide,
Expanets is the nation's largest provider of converged
communications solutions to medium-sized businesses.
ON Command CCM will support a consistent desktop environment
across all PCs in the corporation, including desktops
in local offices and virtual offices as well as mobile
laptops connected over dial-up connections, and will
help boost service speed and capabilities.

Expanets also plans to leverage
ON Command CCM to automate the company's enterprise-wide
migration to Windows 2000. Unlike conventional enterprise
management solutions, ON Command CCM is the only system
that offers unattended operating system installations
and one-click disaster recovery as well as installation
of applications, ongoing updates, and content. In addition,
ON Command CCM allows distributed enterprises like Expanets
to easily manage all of its users from a single centralized
console, including both LAN-connected users in corporate
headquarters as well as remote and mobile users.
