Unlike conventional management solutions that can only be used to deploy applications and content, ON Command CCM is the only enterprise-class system that offers end-to-end lifecycle management including unattended operating system deployments and one-click disaster recovery for remote workstations. Covansys will also be using ON's advanced management solution to automate its enterprise-wide roll-out of Windows XP and efficiently deploy ongoing updates for its business-critical Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software. "We selected ON Technology to replace our previous software vendor after conducting a rigorous evaluation of other competitive solutions," said John Talieri, CIO, Covansys. With iCommand, IT administrators create group policies that determine which users and groups have access to specific applications and content. iCommand then uses this information to dynamically publish a list of approved software on corporate Web servers, based on each end-user's identity, which is automatically detected by the program.
