ON Gains Traction with Managed Services Providers and Resellers in Benelux Region

Waltham, Mass. (May 14, 2003) - ON Technology (NASDAQ:ONTC), a leading provider of enterprise infrastructure management solutions, today announced that it has recently been selected by a number of new European customers in the Benelux region. A number of the orders were obtained via ON’s managed services partners and reseller partners, including Dell Computer, Cap Gemini Ernst & Young, and Getronics.

The new customers include:

  • Akzo Nobel Car Refinishes, a unit of Akzo Nobel Coatings, purchased ON’s software and configuration management solution in the current quarter. Akzo Nobel Car Refinishes, based in the Netherlands, will use ON’s full product suite to provide unattended management for desktops and laptops in its head office as well as in its Dutch subsidiary.

  • Grontmij, a leading global engineering consultancy firm, purchased ON software in the current quarter via Dell Computer, an ON Technology reseller partner.

  • Cap Gemini Ernst & Young, an ON Technology partner, purchased ON software in the first quarter of 2003. CGE&Y acquired the software to deliver managed desktop services to its outsourcing clients, as well as for internal use in managing PCs for its 6,500 employees in the Dutch subsidiary.

  • Getronics Belgium, a new ON Technology partner, purchased ON software in the first quarter 2003. The software is being used to provide outsourced managed services to Getronics’ enterprise clients.

These new customers join a number of existing customers in the Benelux region including Pink Roccade Business Online Services, an outsourced managed services provider for clients such as the City of Amsterdam, and Solectron Netherlands B.V, a manufacturing company.

“The momentum in our Benelux operation demonstrates the power of working closely with key service providers and reseller partners to deliver our unique solution to enterprise organizations,” said Robert L.
