ON
Technology Receives New Customer Orders in Europe
ON Gains Traction with Managed Services Providers
and Resellers in Benelux Region
Waltham, Mass.
(May 14, 2003) - ON Technology (NASDAQ:ONTC), a leading
provider of enterprise infrastructure management solutions,
today announced that it has recently been selected by
a number of new European customers in the Benelux region.
A number of the orders were obtained via ON’s managed
services partners and reseller partners, including Dell
Computer, Cap Gemini Ernst & Young, and Getronics.
The new customers include:
- Akzo Nobel Car Refinishes,
a unit of Akzo Nobel Coatings, purchased ON’s
software and configuration management solution in
the current quarter. Akzo Nobel Car Refinishes, based
in the Netherlands, will use ON’s full product
suite to provide unattended management for desktops
and laptops in its head office as well as in its Dutch
subsidiary.
- Grontmij, a
leading global engineering consultancy firm, purchased
ON software in the current quarter via Dell Computer,
an ON Technology reseller partner.
- Cap Gemini Ernst &
Young, an ON Technology partner, purchased
ON software in the first quarter of 2003. CGE&Y
acquired the software to deliver managed desktop services
to its outsourcing clients, as well as for internal
use in managing PCs for its 6,500 employees in the
Dutch subsidiary.
- Getronics Belgium,
a new ON Technology partner, purchased ON software
in the first quarter 2003. The software is being used
to provide outsourced managed services to Getronics’
enterprise clients.
- Wegener, a
major Dutch publishing company, acquired ON’s
solution in the first quarter of 2003. Wegener is
using the ON software to manage a large-scale thin-client
environment based on Citrix.
These new customers join a number of existing customers
in the Benelux region including Pink Roccade Business
Online Services, an outsourced managed services provider
for clients such as the City of Amsterdam, and Solectron
Netherlands B.V, a manufacturing company.
