ON Technology Promotes Harald
Faulhaber
to Vice President, European Operations
Seasoned Executive to Drive Continued
European Business Expansion
Waltham,
MA (September 20, 2001) – ON Technology
Corporation (Nasdaq:ONTC), a leading provider of remote
software and content management solutions, announced
today that Harald E Faulhaber, 42, has been promoted
to Vice President, European Operations, effective immediately.
According to the announcement by ON Technology Chairman,
President and CEO Robert L Doretti, the promotion recognizes
Faulhaber’s contribution to the Company’s
successful Central European expansion and market share
gains. Faulhaber brings over fourteen years of hands-on
management experience in software sales, service and
support. Reporting to Doretti, Faulhaber will be now
be responsible for the entire European sales, customer
support, professional services and field marketing functions.
In Faulhaber’s previous position
he tripled revenue and increased the installed base
of customers by a like amount. In addition, his group
closed sales with major European accounts such as Credit
Suisse, Deutsche Bank, Pfizer, Munich Reinsurance, Agip,
and Siemens Business Services.

has been instrumental in ON’s market expansion
in Southern and Central Europe over the last four years,
and therefore the logical choice for this position.
We will now look to him to accelerate the growth of
ON Technology throughout all of Europe.”
Faulhaber commented, “In
my new position as Vice President of European Operations,
my group will continue to develop new customers by creating
brand awareness for our products in the European market.”
He added, “I’m confident
that we can achieve comparable results in market share
gains throughout Europe like those we have had in Southern
and Central Europe.”
Prior to joining ON Technology
in 1997, Faulhaber held key sales management positions
at Xerox Corporation (NYSE:XRX) and Applix Inc. (Nasdaq:APLX).
Faulhaber is a graduate of the
University of Osnabrück with a degree in Mathematics
and Physics. He lives in the Munich area with his wife
and two children.
The Company also announced that
Laurent Raynaud, its Vice President of Western European
Field Operations, left the Company to pursue other opportunities.
