and superior support for employees, while significantly

Waltham,
MA (October 8, 2002)- - ON Technology (NASDAQ:ONTC),

solutions, today announced that Accor North America
has chosen ON Command CCM® and ON Command Discovery®
to remotely manage 2,000 workstations in over 1,000

Accor has also purchased the ON Command MSI Package
Wizard to accelerate its migration to next-generation
Windows 2000/XP-based applications.

management solution to:

vital updates such as Microsoft security patches and
anti-virus signatures, and productivity applications
like Microsoft Office 2000 and Internet Explorer,
and
- Fully automate its planned migration
to Windows 2000/XP.
Unlike conventional management
solutions that can only be used to deploy applications
and content, ON Command CCM is the only enterprise-class
system that offers end-to-end lifecycle management,
including unattended operating system deployments and
one-click disaster recovery for remote workstations.
ON Command CCM also allows distributed enterprises like
Accor to manage all workstations easily from a single
centralized console, including WAN-connected remote
or mobile workstations as well as LAN-connected systems
in corporate facilities.
"We selected ON Technology
because of our commitment to the highest quality customer
service and superior employee support," said William
Garr, Director of IT Network Services of Accor North
America. "ON Command CCM is a robust and comprehensive
solution that will allow us to significantly reduce
the total cost of ownership and further enhance the
Accor competitive advantage."
By instantaneously pushing operating
systems, applications, and updated content over Accor's
existing network infrastructure - from centralized servers
- ON Command CCM will eliminate the need for technicians
to travel to remote locations to install software or
rebuild malfunctioning systems. As a result, ON's advanced
solution reduces IT costs significantly, minimizes downtime
for mission-critical workstations, and provides a powerful
management infrastructure for ongoing updates and Help
Desk support that enhance market responsiveness and
customer service.

Accor North America, a leader in the hospitality industry,
