News Release PowerQuest Adds Storage Veteran to Lead Worldwide Sales OREM, Utah - January 21, 2003 - PowerQuest Corporation, a provider of storage lifecycle automation to businesses worldwide, announced today that Mark Milford has joined the company as senior vice president of worldwide sales. Milford, a 30-year veteran of the high technology industry with extensive sales and management experience, has responsibility for ongoing development and management of the company’s sales organization throughout the world. “The addition of Mark Milford to our executive team strengthens our ability to achieve our growth objectives for 2003 and beyond,” said Paul Winn, CEO and president of PowerQuest Corporation. “Mark has the industry experience and knowledge to lead our worldwide sales function to new levels as we strengthen our presence in the enterprise storage management market.” Prior to joining PowerQuest, Milford was a senior vice president and general manager in the channel sales organization for Computer Associates International, where he was responsible for indirect sales for the company’s storage, security, data modeling and enterprise management products in North America. He also served as senior vice president and general manager for Computer Associates’ storage business unit, leading the brand marketing, software development, technical pre-sales and worldwide indirect channel sales organizations for the storage software business. Prior to his work at Computer Associates, Milford worked for Hewlett-Packard for 27 years, including positions as general manager of worldwide storage sales, general manager of the Government Business Unit, general manager of worldwide order fulfillment for the Computer Systems Group, and a number of senior sales management positions in the North America field organization. Milford holds a BS in computer science from the Pennsylvania State University and is a member of the U.S. Postal Service Marketing Advisory Board, the Penn State University College of Engineering Professional Advisory Council, the Maryland University College Executive Programs Advisory Board, and the Penn State University College of Science Alumni Association board of directors.
