PowerQuest Releases Update to Drive Image Pro 3.0
OREM, Utah - June 14, 2000 -
PowerQuest® announces the release of Drive Image® Pro 3.02, an update to PowerQuest's solution for imaging and deploying PC workstations in minutes.
Version 3.02 corrects minor issues including one that arose when log files exceeded 4MB. In version 3.02, Drive Image Pro now ignores the log file size.
Also corrected in version 3.02 are the "sticky" drive letters, which were created because Windows 2000 Professional preserves drive letters and partition assignments via registry entries. When an image was restored to a different partition, the previous version of Drive Image Pro marked the drive letter and partition assignment invalid. Version 3.02 now updates these registry entries.
The Drive Image Pro 3.02 update (approximately 1.2MB) can be downloaded free of charge from PowerQuest's Web site at www.powerquest.com/updates/en/index.html.
