PowerQuest Expands Professional Services to Help Customers and Partners Efficiently Build and Protect Storage Systems

V2i Builder Services and V2i Protector Services accelerate return on storage investment, simplify installation and configuration, and enable hands-free deployment and disaster recovery for servers and workstations

OREM, Utah – June 30, 2003 – PowerQuest® Corporation, a provider of storage lifecycle automation to businesses worldwide, announces PowerQuest V2i Builder™ Services and PowerQuest V2i Protector™ Services to complement the company’s enterprise solutions for building and protecting storage environments. These expanded professional services include a variety of pre-packaged and customizable services options that include training and consulting, and will provide businesses with access to PowerQuest’s system deployment, management and disaster recovery expertise, helping enhance their existing storage investment. In addition to providing IT professionals and service providers with detailed understanding of PowerQuest’s new enterprise solutions based on Virtual Volume Imaging (V2i™) technology, V2i Builder Services and V2i Protector Services will simplify product installation and configuration and enable hands-free IT and PC management. PowerQuest V2i Protector Services will be available in North America and Europe while initially, PowerQuest V2i Builder Services will be available in North America only. V2i Builder Services are scheduled to be introduced in Europe later this summer.

  • PowerStart Services: on-site customer training coupled with product installation, configuration and implementation.

  • Consulting Services: hands-on training and best practice suggestions for OS deployment, migration, IT management and backup and recovery strategies. Consulting services range from the planning and design phases to building and implementing solutions.
