PowerQuest Introduces Enterprise Licensing Program to Reward Customers for Volume Purchasing
New Enterprise Licensing Program Gives Customers Flexibility, Cumulative Discounts on PowerQuest Enterprise Storage Management Products
OREM, Utah (U.S.A.) - August 13, 2001 -
PowerQuest® Corporation, a provider of proven solutions for storage management, announces a new volume license agreement to reduce the price of large volume product purchases for its enterprise customers. The PowerQuest Enterprise License Program (ELP) is a contract-based, cumulative discount volume license agreement that rewards customers for making multiple purchases of PowerQuest products throughout the year.
The PowerQuest ELP offers enterprise customers flexibility and financial incentives when they purchase large volumes of PowerQuest technology. The cumulative discount program enables customers who make additional purchases after their initial investment to receive higher discounts, rather than having to meet a large, up-front financial obligation. Customers can also achieve even greater volume discounts by including the entire organization in a single licensing plan, even if purchases are made from multiple locations. The ELP includes software maintenance, entitling customers to software upgrades and technical support for the full annual period.
The PowerQuest ELP is fulfilled through PowerQuest’s authorized corporate reseller partners. These partners can better serve new and existing customers by including the PowerQuest ELP in their overall management of customer volume licenses.
“Implementing the PowerQuest Enterprise License Program helps us deliver valuable customer benefits. Its flexibility and volume discounts make purchases more cost effective, which translates into tangible customer value,” said Lisa M. Stewart, vice president, E-Services and Customer Operations, Software Spectrum. “Providing customer satisfaction is our foremost priority.”
The PowerQuest ELP is part of the company’s increased commitment to delivering enterprise-level storage management solutions. Earlier this year PowerQuest launched two enterprise suites, the PowerQuest PowerManage Suite™, a comprehensive remote management solution for disk storage devices, and the PowerQuest PowerDeploy Suite™, a complete lifecycle management solution for computer systems.
Two other plans are included in PowerQuest Global Licensing Programs. The PowerQuest Open License Program (OLP) is a transaction-based, contract-free volume license plan that gives small- and medium-sized organizations a simple and effective way to purchase PowerQuest products at volume discounts. The PowerQuest Site License Program (SLP) is a one-year, contract-based volume license program designed for customers wishing to receive large volume discounts for agreeing to standardize on a particular PowerQuest product or suite for an entire site.
The PowerQuest Enterprise License Program is available worldwide through PowerQuest Global Licensing Programs.
