StumbleUponA Symantec Corporation (“Symantec”) implementou um programa para criar uma rede de replicação autorizada de discos e fábricas de produção que poderão ser usadas para manufaturar seus produto em todo o mundo. Qualquer fábrica que manufature produtos Symantec de forma legítima deverá estar incluída no Authorized Replicator Program da Symantec.
O departamento de proteção global da marca da Symantec identificou as melhores práticas do setor com relação à proteção da propriedade intelectual da Symantec. Essas práticas foram criadas para reduzir os riscos e minimizar as perdas associadas à Symantec e seus ativos.
A aceitação no programa garante que há controles razoáveis e documentados a serem adotados por todas as fábricas de produção e replicação da Symantec ao redor do mundo. Especificamente, para ingressar no Authorized Replicator Program da Symantec, as fábricas devem demonstrar que atendem aos padrões de qualificação de replicador autorizado da Symantec documentados. Para isso, é possível que haja pesquisas de segurança conduzidas no local em nome da Symantec. Por fim, cada fábrica deve assinar um Contrato de replicador com a Symantec para ingressar no Authorized Replicator Program da Symantec.
