"Mobile devices are becoming increasingly connected and now either hold or provide access to highly confidential personal and business information," said Steve Cullen, senior vice president of Symantec Consumer and Client Product Delivery. Symantec AntiVirus 2002 for Palm OS scans for and detects viruses in Palm devices, providing real-time protection and on-demand scans to protect data on the handheld device even between synchronizations.
