Expanded threat detection alerts users to non-virus threats such as spyware and keystroke logging programs. Norton AntiVirus 2004 scans and cleans both incoming and outgoing email messages, and worm- and script-blocking detects new threats even before virus protection updates are created for them. In addition, Norton AntiVirus 2004 automatically downloads new virus protection updates to protect against the latest threats.
