Symantec Network Security 4.0 Offers Comprehensive Intrusion Detection to Protect Against Network Threats

TORONTO, ON - January 31, 2005 - Symantec Corp. (NASDAQ: SYMC), the global leader in information security, today announced the new version of its network intrusion detection software solution, Symantec Network Security 4.0, which provides multi-gigabit intrusion detection, scalable centralized management and advanced security intelligence to protect against threats and intrusions.
