Toll-free number and payment in Indian rupees for subscriptions introduced

With this, Symantec's retail customers of its Norton range of products will have immediate access to all comprehensive product information, technical support and subscription upgrades through a dedicated toll-free customer service number.
The enhanced customer and technical support service specifically designed for Symantec's huge base of Norton customers in India will be managed by iSeva, for its consumer products like Norton Internet Security, Norton System Works, Norton Anti-virus, Norton Personal Firewall. For renewal of subscriptions after the first year of purchase, consumers can also call on toll-free number 1600 44 80 82. In addition, customers who have purchased computers, which have a 90-day OEM product preloaded by Symantec, can also avail of this service to upgrade their OEM versions of Norton Anti Virus (NAV) and Norton Internet Security (NIS) to a regular one-year subscription. All subscription payment can now be made in Indian rupees.
