Symantec, verdens ledende leverandør av sikkerhetsløsninger for Internett, kunne i dag offentliggjøre resultatene for tredje regnskapskvartal 2004, som ble avsluttet 2. januar 2004. Symantec hadde salgsinntekter i løpet av kvartalet på USD 494 millioner eller ca. 3,4 milliarder norske kroner, en økning på 31 prosent sammenlignet med USD 376 millioner samme kvartal i fjor. Resultatene skyldes både sterk vekst i salget til bedrifter og uventet gode resultater på forbrukermarkedet.
