Reduce total volume of spam by discouraging spammers from wasting resources directing rejected traffic towards your enterprise. Bounce Attack Prevention New antispam protection approach to address an entire class of spam, known as bounce attack or NDR spam, by tagging outbound email and validating bounced messages as legitimate.. Improve end user productivity with fewer missed spam messages. Simplify implementation and deployment of integrated Brightmail Gateway/Data Loss Prevention. Integration with Symantec Data Loss Prevention Streamlined integration with Symantec Data Loss Prevention (formerly Vontu) to simplify deployment, promote best practices, and support load balancing and high availability. Expanded VMware Support Expanded VMware support with the addition of ESXi, VMware’s next-generation hypervisor that provides the same functionality and performance as VMware ESX but with a reduced memory footprint and available free of charge. Adaptively provision messaging security resources to respond to spam attacks and periodic threat waves. Increase IT utilization and reduce footprint and power consumption with virtual appliances. Expanded platform support reduces costs and simplifies deployment of Virtual Edition.     How to license   There have been no significant licensing changes from Symantec Brightmail Gateway v.7.7.   Determine the total units required by your customer Purchase the hardware appliance plus the desired Express licensed software subscriptions based on the number of users.   Qualify your customer within a pricing band Based upon the total units to be purchased on a single order, qualify your customer within a band level (A, B, C, etc).
