Enabling the next generation of wireless communications has been a mission statement for Airspan Networks, Inc. since its inception in 1992. Changing the face of networks, telecommunications, and the delivery of multimedia services in that timeframe, Airspan needed a way to secure wireless connections between networks and base stations to meet compliance standards. Airspan turned to Symantec (formerly VeriSign) to create millions of secure certificates for any type of WiMAX-compliant subscriber base station or device.
