Intellectual property (IP) is extremely important to the success, even the survival, of HIGEN Motor Co., Ltd. Nevertheless, the company used to have no policies or systems in place to protect this business-critical asset. After an acquisition raised awareness of the risk, the company engaged Symantec partner Daou Data to develop IP security policies, then to implement a data loss prevention solution from Symantec. HIGEN Motor also uses Symantec solutions for data protection and endpoint security.
