An organization such as Landschaftsverband Rhineland (LVR), which runs several clinics, special schools, and cultural facilities in the Rhineland region of Germany, must be able to manage sensitive data such as digital patient records. However, the task of protecting these special records is becoming more challenging for LVR, as its infrastructure is used by a growing number of mobile users and home office workers. Which is why LVR chose to implement Symantec Endpoint Protection to protect 8,000 clients and 1,000 servers. LVR’s email is also protected by Symantec Brightmail Gateway, which checks to ensure that messages are safe as soon as they arrive at the mail gateway.
