The Italian fashion and textiles company Miroglio Group recently swapped-out its separate endpoint protection tool (McAfee) and its backup tool (IBM Tivoli Storage Manager) with a single, unified endpoint/messaging security and data protection solution from Symantec. The combined technologies provide antivirus, antispam, antispyware, and network access control (NAC) across 2,000 endpoints and 350 virtualized servers—together with fast, productive backup and restore of a growing VMware environment.
