STW Group, Australiasia’s largest marketing and communications group, had an aging IT infrastructure. Most of its 75 divisions ran their own systems, and data protection processes could be unreliable. The company engaged Symantec Specialist Partner Nexus IT and Communications Solutions to help design and implement a new virtual infrastructure, complete with data protection and email archiving solutions from Symantec. Now recovery is much faster and backups are more reliable, even as IT staff spend less time on data protection.
