The virus definitions installer you should download depends on the type of processor your Mac has (PowerPC or Intel), the Mac OS version, and the version of Norton AntiVirus for Macintosh or Symantec AntiVirus for Macintosh you are running.

Once downloaded and expanded on your hard drive, simply double-click on the Installer and the appropriate files will be installed on your computer.
