channel bonding

The combination of two B channels into a 128-Kbps transmission for ISDN. If a second channel is available at the time that pcAnywhere attempts to bond, the ISDN session transmits at the 128-KB rate.

In Symantec pcAnywhere, a set of rules that are designed to let computers exchange data with as few errors as possible. Some protocols, such as RS-232-C, refer to hardware standards; others, such as XMODEM, refer to file transfer protocols. See also flow control.
