SCSI (small computer system interface)

A processor-independent standard for system level interfacing between a computer and peripheral devices such as printers, hard drives, and CD-ROMs.

The second most commonly used interface for disk drives. Unlike competing standards, SCSI is capable of supporting 8 devices, or 16 devices with Wide SCSI. Also pronounced "Scuzzy."
