Description
This release of Symantec Enterprise Security Manager™ Modules for Sybase Adaptive Server Enterprise has been enhanced to support AIX (PPC) 64-bit operating systems. In addition, one new check has been added in the Sybase ASE Object module.

Enhancements
This release of Symantec Enterprise Security Manager™ Modules for Sybase Adaptive Server Enterprise provides the following enhancements:
- Silent installation of ESM modules for Sybase ASE
- Silent configuration of ESM modules for Sybase ASE
- One new check in the Sybase ASE Object module
- Exclude granted object perm
- Configuration logs
- 256-bit AES encryption algorithm for storing credentials
- Platform support for AIX (PPC) 64-bit for installing the ESM modules for Sybase ASE

The updated User’s Guide and Release Notes document all Sybase Adaptive Server Enterprise module enhancements and new features.
