Description
This release of Symantec Enterprise Security Manager™ Modules for Microsoft SQL Server has been enhanced to provide support for installation of the modules on Windows Server 2003 64-bit (Opteron and EM 64T) computers. In addition, two new options have been added for MSSQLSetup.exe.

ESM modules for Microsoft SQL Server are used to assess the security of Microsoft SQL Server 2000 and 2005.
Enhancements
This release of Symantec Enterprise Security Manager™ Modules for Microsoft SQL Server Databases provides the following enhancements:
- ESM module for MSSQL Server now supports installation on Windows Server 2003 64-bit (Opteron and EM 64T) computers.
- Two new options -i and -I added for MSSQLSetup.exe
- Configuration logs
- 256-bit AES encryption algorithm for storing credentials
- One new check in the SQL Server Configuration module
- MSSQL Server Agent Proxy Account

The updated User’s Guide and Release Notes document all ESM for Microsoft SQL Server 2000 and 2005 module enhancements and new features.
