Description
Microsoft Windows is prone to a remote code-execution vulnerability.
Attackers can exploit this issue to execute arbitrary code with SYSTEM-level privileges. Successful exploits will completely compromise affected computers.
Recommendations
Deploy network intrusion detection systems to monitor network traffic for malicious activity.
Deploy NIDS to monitor network traffic for signs of anomalous or suspicious activity. This may indicate exploit attempts or activity that results from successful exploits.Disallow unstrusted users from being in proximity of computers running affected applications.
Allow only trusted individuals to be within close proximity of the affected device.
