Backdoor.Rtkit is a Backdoor Trojan Horse component that hides processes and files. This type of Trojan is commonly referred to as a rootkit.

In addition to the rootkit functionality, Backdoor.Rtkit also provides remote access to a compromised system.

Note: This signature was updated in definitions dated September 2, 2003 to account for newly discovered samples related to W32.HLLW.Raleka.
