Behavior
Dialer.StripPlayer is a program that asks the user to dial premium rate telephone numbers in order to access pornographic material.
Symptoms
Your Symantec program detects Dialer.StripPlayer. Links to the StripPlayer program are seen on the start menu and the desktop and an icon will exist in the system tray when the program is running.
Transmission
Dialer.StripPlayer is installed by visiting a Web site on the stripplayer.com domain and clicking on a link that initiates the installation.
