W32.Secefa.D is a worm with back door capabilities that drops another threat onto the compromised computer.

It is reported that the worm is downloaded by a malformed html file that exploits the Microsoft Internet Explorer CreateTextRange Remote Code Execution Vulnerability (as described in Bugtraq ID 17196).
