This is a hoax. This information does not originate from Symantec AntiVirus Research Center (now known as Symantec Security Response) and is a hoax. It should be ignored:

You have been selected for an extensive port and virus implementation scan by SARC, a division of Symantec Inc. During the next few days your system will be agressively attacked by various new multimorphic,stealthmode internet virus programmes. Any system damage or data loss sustained during these attacks can be reported to our email response team.
Please use your email client and other programs like IRC or ICQ frequently to support influx of our destructive payloads.
Already a payload has been attached and executed by your mailclient to ensure satisfying result upon reading this message.
Thank you for your cooperation during this important research phase.
