Type: Virus

Boza is a virus that has gathered much media attention since its first announcement in February 1996. Boza belongs to a new class of computer viruses designed to infect and spread only among 32-bit executables on Windows 95. Boza has no intentional destructive payload, but may corrupt files if it fails to infect the host correctly. Boza uses a direct infection method for replication. This means that it does not remain resident in memory. It loads, performs its function, closes down, and then passes control back to the host file.
Boza has a triggered event. On the 30th of every month, it displays a message box with the following text:
"The taste of fame just got tastier!
VLAD Australia does it again with the world's first Win95 Virus.
