X97M.Threekay.A infects workbooks by inserting an infected Sheet named Book1 in the Microsoft Excel Start directory.

The virus also attempts to switch off virus protection by inserting two files:

C:\Tb6.bat and C:\Tb6.reg

The payload is executed when the current day of the month equals the current minute. See the technical description for payload details.
