This polymorphic macro virus infects MS Excel spreadsheet files by adding one randomly named Visual Basic Application (VBA) module. This virus uses much more disguise in executing its infection routine. It also has a potentially troublesome payload as described in detail below. The payload is activated when closing an infected spreadsheet on any day after August 31, 1998.
