Type: Virus
To remove this virus:
- Run LiveUpdate to make sure that you have the most recent virus definitions.
- Start Norton AntiVirus (NAV), and then run a full system scan, making sure that NAV is set to scan all files.
- Delete any files detected as Palm.Phage.Dropper.
- Delete the .prc file that Norton AntiVirus detects as Palm.Phage.Dropper from the Palm Desktop backup folder.
- If Palm.Phage.Dropper is detected on your desktop computer, you should do a hard reset of your Palm OS device, and perform a hot sync.
