W32.Mari@mm is a worm that is written in the Visual Basic language. Because it is written in Visual Basic, it requires VB runtime libraries to execute.
When the worm is executed, it copies itself to the \Windows folder, adds itself to the Windows registry and modifies the Win.ini file. The worm also creates an icon next to the clock in the windows system tray.
