W97M.MVCKA.kit is a construction kit for macro viruses. Any macro virus that is generated with this kit will be detected as W97M.VMPCK1C.Gen.
The kit itself does not cause any damage to the person using it. However, deployment of the viruses that it creates is harmful to the victim who receives the infected documents that are created with it, and the kit is therefore considered a threat by most system administrators.
