Hacktool.DCOMDoS is a hacktool that attempts to perform a Denial of Service (DoS) attack against a computer vulnerable to the DCOM RPC exploit (described in Microsoft Security Bulletin MS03-039). An attacker can use this method to deny legitimate users access to a computer, making the system unusable.
NOTE: Virus definitions dated prior to October 10, 2003 may detect this hacktool as Bloodhound.Exploit.1.
