Backdoor.Sysdot is a Backdoor Trojan horse that allows unauthorized remote access to a compromised computer. It also acts as a covert proxy that is capable of accepting and sending information to remote attacker.

This Trojan is written in Delphi and packed by UPX.


Note: The presence of this threat is a possible indication of a vulnerability of Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE). The specific vulnerability is processing bitmap files in version 5 of IE. To date, this exploit only affects Russian versions of Microsoft Windows XP.
