Behavior


Adware.Umaxsearch modifies the start page of Internet Explorer. . Some versions of Adware.UMaxsearch will display pop-up advertisements.

Symptoms


The Microsoft Internet Explorer start page is reset to C:\RECYCLER\index.htm every time Windows starts.
