When Adware.Ventures is installed, it does the following:
- Creates the following files:
- [path to other program]\AcsProxy.dll
- [path to other program]\AcsProxy.lib
- [path to other program]\Vic32.dll
- Adds the value:
"AcsProxy.lib"="1"
"AcsProxy.dll"="1"
"Vic32.dll"="1"
to the registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\SharedDLLs
- Depending on the application that Adware.Ventures is installed with, different files and registry keys might be created.
- Contacts the remote server and downloads advertisements through HTTP requests.
- Displays advertisements.
