7. Can I bring a guest?
Thinking about bringing a friend to the Vision evening functions? New this year, there are two ways to do so.
The first option is to purchase a guest pass for all three nights of Vision 2013 evening functions. This package can be added onto your registration through the online registration system for the discounted price of only $225. If you wait to purchase those same guest passes onsite, you will pay the full price of $250. Guests must be at least 21 years old and may attend only the evening functions on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday nights.
Just interested in bringing a guest on Wednesday? Again, you can add this on to your registration through the online registration system for the discounted price of only $125. Onsite the price will increase to $150. Guests must be at least 21 years old and may attend only the Wednesday night evening functions – both the Expo Hall reception and the Customer Appreciation Party.
These passes are good only for the specified evening(s). Guests will not have access to conference sessions, registration materials, or other meals. Some restrictions and conditions apply.
8. How can I convince my team it's valuable to attend?
Feel free to share the Top 10 Reasons to Attend, or send them the pdf
Fill out this proposal letter and share it with your manager
Ask them what they'd like to learn --then come to Vision 2013 to learn how to find the answer
Watch last year's video promo.
9. How do I get my $100 gift card?
Make sure you book your room at MGM Grand through the Vision online conference registration system, because that’s the only way to receive a $100 MGM gift card that can be applied directly to your guestroom account, restaurants, shops, shows, or the MGM Grand spa*. Please note that it is one MGM per room, not per occupant.
Attendees can pick up their $100 MGM gift cards if they are eligible for them onsite at Conference Services desk after they pick up their conference badge. We will be using gift redemption to determine who is eligible to receive them.
*Must book a minimum 3-night stay through the online system to qualify. MGM Grand gift cards are not available to Symantec vendors, employees, or other attendees whose room charges are paid for by Symantec.
10. How can I set up my own private meetings at the conference?
Attendees can sign up to “Meet the Experts” through the online Session Scheduler when it goes live in late February 2013.
If employees are looking to book meetings, they can send an email to vision@symantec.com for these requests. The 1:1 appointments with experts are only for customers/partners - not employees.
