Software Donation Program
Across the world, social benefit organizations play a vital role in supporting the diverse needs of their communities. From small public libraries that sponsor adult literacy programs to food banks feeding the hungry, these organizations face rising demands on their services. At the same time, they often lack the resources required to secure the sensitive data their employees and volunteers handle on a daily basis.
Symantec's software donation program exists to help social benefit organizations stay safe online in our increasingly interconnected world. Over the course of our 15 year-long partnership with TechSoup, we’ve distributed millions of donated products to over 90,000 nonprofits and public libraries.
"Our team does important work to provide the best STEM education possible for teachers and students in Wisconsin. We can't do that if our technology is having problems, and frankly, I had started to have problems sleeping because I was worried that we might have another shutdown. Using Symantec gave us peace of mind — our team now focuses on STEM education, not tech problems."
— Kelly Ellis, The Einstein Project, Executive Director

"Suffering through the process of virus recovery was difficult and time-consuming. I cannot tell you how much we appreciate having the Norton license. For us, as a smaller non-profit serving thousands in the community every year, every dime we can save goes ten-fold into programs for the kids. You not only protect our systems, but you directly help us save money that we can put towards our youth programs. Norton gives us peace of mind and saves us every day and we thank everyone at Norton for making such a wonderful product."
— Julie Rubin, Office Manager, The Youth Center
