Trilling, senior director, advanced concepts group, will participate in the "Malware Everywhere: Trends for Viruses, Worms and Trojans" panel hosted by Andy Briney, editor-in-chief, Information Security magazine. The panelists will review the most recent global malware disasters, and discuss how these sophisticated attacks can impact enterprise security.
Trilling currently oversees Symantec's advanced concepts group, a research and development division dedicated to studying new Internet security threats and creating technologies to protect computer systems. A leading expert on security issues, Trilling has appeared on numerous national broadcast programs including Nightline, The Today Show, The Early Show and The NBC Nightly News. Trilling was awarded a bachelor's degree in computer science and mathematics from Yale University, and a master's degree in Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
