Toomey, product manager of policy management at Symantec, will participate on the "Comprehensive Network Security Policies" panel from 11:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 24, 2002. Panelists will discuss how to define, create and measure corporate security policies, as well as debate whether network security is a business or a technology issue.
With more than 12 years of information security experience, Toomey assists Fortune 500 companies, banking institutions and government agencies in implementing sound and practical security policies and solutions. Toomey earned both a bachelor's and a master's degree in electrical and computer engineering from Brigham Young University.
In its tenth year, the Internet World Spring conference provides attendees with educational programs centered on the latest in technological trends and solutions. Users, developers and vendors will contribute case studies and lead sessions on content management, marketing, security, e-commerce and web services.
