Symantec Offers Webcast on Using Integrated Security to Combat Today’s Blended Threats

CUPERTINO, Calif. - June 26, 2002 ­ Symantec Corp., (Nasdaq: SYMC), the world leader in Internet security, today announced that it will host a Webcast offering recommendations on how to protect the network from today's blended threats using integrated security solutions. The Webcast, titled "Integrated Security to Combat Blended Threats" will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2002 at 10 a.m. PST. Mark Nittler, Vice President of Strategic Marketing at Symantec, will lead the Webcast. Nittler will discuss the concept of integrated security solutions as an emerging approach to address the new challenges facing e-enabled enterprises.
