Symantec Announces 2008 Visionary Award Winners

LAS VEGAS – Symantec Vision - June 10, 2008 – Symantec Corp. (Nasdaq: SYMC) today announced the 2008 Visionary Award winners at Vision 2008, Symantec's annual user conference and one of the industry's leading technology events. The Visionary Awards recognize IT thought leaders for their innovative use of Symantec products and services to protect their infrastructure and information. These organizations have developed policies and systems to effectively protect and manage the information that is critically important to their businesses. Representing a wide range of industries and geographies, the winners of the 2008 Visionary Awards are IT leaders from AgFirst Farm Credit Bank, Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, HSBC Mexico S.A., JPMorgan Chase, Meredith Corporation, Polkomtel, Rodyk & Davidson LLP and Texas Children's Hospital.

Four years ago, Symantec developed the Visionary Awards program to recognize industry leaders from around the world for their innovative use of technology in driving business value results. The Visionary Awards winners will be recognized by John Thompson, Chairman of the Board and CEO, Symantec Corp. following his opening keynote on Tuesday, June 10.
