Symantec™ Encryption Desktop 10.3.2 is Now Available

On January 27, 2014 Symantec™ Corporation released version 10.3.2 of Symantec™ Encryption Desktop, Powered by PGP Technology.

What's New in Symantec Encryption Desktop Version 10.3.2 for Mac OS X

Compatibility with Apple Mac OS X 10.8.5, 10.9, 10.9.1, and 10.9.2.

  • This release supports the installation of Symantec Encryption Desktop on systems running Apple Mac OS X 10.8.5, 10.9 (Mavericks), 10.9.1 and 10.9.2.

The following list details some of the changes included in version 10.3.2.

  • Symantec Drive Encryption is now compatible with the Thunderbolt interface on Mac OS X systems. [2535344]
  • Resolved an issue with Symantec Drive Encryption so that USB drives with NTFS-formatted boot records now encrypt without stopping. [3318265]
  • Resolved an issue so that users can now successfully send PDF files through email using Adobe Reader without any duplication in the Sent Items folder of Microsoft Outlook. [3318269]
  • The Single Sign-On (SSO) feature now works correctly for Symantec Drive Encryption on systems running Microsoft Windows 7, following the upgrade of Symantec Encryption Desktop from 9.12 to 10.3. [3318277]
  • Symantec Drive Encryption now supports GUID Partition Table (GPT) formatting on Microsoft Windows 7 64-bit systems and Windows 8.1 64-bit systems, running in UEFI mode. [2692579]
