This hotfix can only be applied to the following version of Enterprise Vault Adapter for Secure Messaging and Rights Management (SMRM):
Enterprise Vault Adapter for Secure Rights Management Server 8.0.0.0

What issue does this hotfix resolve?
- PGP encrypted messages with attachments are not decrypted prior to being archived while using the PGP Desktop and PGP Universal versions installed that are later than the versions supported by SMRM 8.0.

How to install this hotfix:

On each Enterprise Vault Server where the Enterprise Vault Adapter for Secure Messaging and Rights Management is installed:

1. Stop the Enterprise Vault Task Controller Service

2. rename the existing copy of file evsmrm_filter.dll to evsmrm_filter.dll.orig, installed by default in the "Adapter for Secure Messaging and Rights Management" subdirectory of the Enterprise Vault server installation folder (i.e., C:\Program Files\Enterprise Vault\Adapter for Secure Messaging and Rights Management)

3. Copy the new version evsmrm_filter.dll file into the folder to replace the original file

4. Restart all the Task Controller Service

How to uninstall this hotfix:

On each Enterprise Vault Server where the Enterprise Vault Adapter for Secure Messaging and Rights Management is installed:

1. Stop the Enterprise Vault Task Controller Service

2. Rename or remove the new version of the evsmrm_filter.dll file, installed by default in the "Adapter for Secure Messaging and Rights Management" subdirectory of the Enterprise  Vault server installation folder

3. Rename the old version from evsmrm_filter.dll.orig back to evsmrm_filter.dll

4. Start the Task Controller Service
